Insurance & Out-of-Network Reimbursement
Fortitude MHG is a private-pay practice, which allows us to offer more personalized care, longer appointments, and treatment decisions guided by your individual needs rather than insurance restrictions and limitations. Many patients value the flexibility, privacy, and thoughtful, individualized care this approach provides.
As Fortitude MHG is a private-pay, out-of-network practice, we do not bill insurance directly. That said, many insurance plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services.
We’re happy to provide a superbill after your appointment—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Depending on your plan, you may receive partial reimbursement. Since benefits can vary, we recommend contacting your insurance provider to better understand your out-of-network mental health coverage.
Many patients appreciate that this model allows for more personalized, flexible care—while still offering the possibility of reimbursement.
